This Privacy Policy describes how the CoA Apps website (operated by Carrie on Accessibility) handles information. It covers this website itself. Individual apps and browser extensions featured here may handle information differently — where that's the case, that app has its own dedicated privacy policy, linked from its own page.

Information We Collect

This website does not use cookies, advertising, or third-party tracking scripts. We do not ask visitors to create accounts, fill out forms, or provide any personal information to browse it.

Usage counting. So that we can tell how many people use each app and game, the site keeps a count of a few things: which of its pages were opened, which Play, Open or Install buttons were pressed, the day, the browser's language, whether it is a phone or a desktop, the size of the window, and the outside site that linked here, if any. To tell a returning visitor from a new one, the browser is given a random id, kept only in that browser's own storage. The id is not tied to a name, an email, an account, or an IP address, and it is never shared with anyone. If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" signal, nothing at all is counted. You can also clear the id at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.

Like virtually all websites, our hosting provider may automatically record basic technical information for security and server maintenance — such as IP address, browser type, and access times. This is standard web server behavior, not something we actively collect, review, or use ourselves.

How We Use Information

The usage counts are looked at only in aggregate, to see which apps and games are used and how often. Since we don't collect personal information through this site, there is nothing to share or sell.

Third Parties

We do not share, sell, or rent any information to third parties. The usage counts are stored in Google Firebase, the same service that stores the data of the apps on this site that let you sign in; Google stores it on our behalf under its Firebase terms.

Children's Privacy

This website does not knowingly collect information from children, since it does not collect personal information from any visitor.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new "Last Updated" date.
